This page explains how Travel Abroad And Jobs (sam.knowtoday.com.ng/) chooses topics, researches and writes its articles, and corrects mistakes. Readers make serious decisions about work, money and moving abroad, so we hold our content to clear standards.

What we aim to do

  • Be useful and honest. Every article should help a reader understand a real question, including the limits and the risks. If a headline promise can only be partly met, we say so in the article.
  • Put readers first. Advertising does not decide what we write, which facts we include or how we describe a provider, employer or programme.
  • Not mislead. We do not publish guarantees of jobs, visas, scholarships or approvals, and we do not present invented people or results as real.

How we research

  • We start from official and primary sources: government immigration and labour pages, regulators, statistical offices, and the provider’s, bank’s, insurer’s or programme’s own pages.
  • Where a figure changes over time (fees, salary thresholds, rates, deadlines, exchange rates), we state the date it was checked or the date of the source.
  • Secondary sources such as law-firm summaries, news reports and comparison sites are used only when an official source cannot be reached, and we try to say so.
  • When we cannot confirm a fact, we say it is “not published” or ask readers to check the official source. We do not fill the gap with a guess.
  • Employers, banks and other providers are named only where we have a source for what we say about them. Being named is not an endorsement, and an employer may not be hiring or sponsoring.

Examples and case studies

Short stories in our articles (for example “a nurse relocating to a new city”) are illustrations made to explain a process. They are not real people and not real results. Any figures used in them come from the sources we cite.

Tools and review

We may use software tools, including AI-assisted writing tools, to help research, draft and organise articles. Articles are reviewed against the sources before they are published. People remain responsible for what appears on the Site.

Advertising and independence

The Site earns money from advertising. Ads are separate from editorial content and are provided by third-party networks. We do not accept payment to change what an article says about a provider, employer or product. Anything sponsored would be clearly labelled. See our Advertising Disclosure.

Updates

Rules and prices move quickly. We review articles and update them when we learn of an important change. Where an article has been materially updated, we aim to show the change in the text.

Corrections

If you think something on the Site is wrong, tell us through our Contact Us page. Include the article title, what you believe is incorrect and, if possible, an official source. When we confirm an error, we correct it promptly.

Not professional advice

Our articles are general information. They are not legal, immigration, financial or other professional advice. See our Disclaimer.
