Travel Abroad And Jobs is an independent information website for people who are thinking about working, studying, settling or travelling abroad. We write plain-language guides on jobs abroad, visa and immigration routes, scholarships, and the money and housing questions that come up when you move to a new country.
Why this site exists
Moving abroad means working through a lot of rules, costs and sources that are hard to compare. Many readers also meet fake job offers, “guaranteed visa” promises and unclear fees along the way. We aim to give readers one place where the main facts are explained simply, with the limits and the risks stated openly.
What we publish
- Jobs abroad: which occupations and routes are open to foreign workers, typical pay from published data, and how employer sponsorship actually works in each country.
- Visas and immigration: how the main visa and residency routes work, what they cost, and what officials say about eligibility.
- Scholarships and study: funding options for international students, and what a student visa does and does not allow.
- Money and housing for newcomers: banking, insurance, credit, sending money home, and finding a place to live in a new country.
How we work
We start from official and primary sources, such as government immigration pages, regulators and the providers’ own pages, and we say when a figure was checked. When a fact cannot be confirmed, we say so instead of guessing. You can read the full details on our Editorial Policy.
What we are not
- We are not a recruitment agency, a government website, a law firm or an immigration consultancy.
- We do not sell jobs, visas, scholarships or “guaranteed” outcomes, and we never ask readers for money.
- We cannot review your personal case. For advice on your own situation, speak to a qualified, regulated adviser or the official authority.
